CV Idol and Battle of the Bands

Anyone catch the CV Idol and Battle of the Bands competition on Friday night?

I did and it was a BLAST! There was definitely some great talent on that stage! A nice mix of styles as well. A Capella jazz, oldies, modern, country...nice job!

I could not stay for winners - who won?

Side note: SHUT UP and have some manners. I was floored by the talking and rude comments blurted out DURING performances. If you aren't "into it" stay home. Go to Walmart and hang out. Just give folks some respect!

We have an issue in this town then. A large portion of the audience spoke and ridiculed through the entire show.

Mitchell Millett won the CV Idol portion (he sang a country song).  and Joe Phillips's band (they changed their name to Obsidian Blade...) won the Battle of the Bands part.
